Deriving and Replacing Services Items

You can replace a Services Items by deriving a new one from the existing one. The app replaces the existing one with the newly derived Services Item. This command combines removing an existing Services Item from the structure, creating a new Services Item, and attaching the new Services Item in place of the old one.

The based on product of the new Services Item is the same as the original Services Item and cannot be changed. The result of this task is that a released Services Item (that cannot be changed) is replaced by a Services Item in the Create state that you can configure further.
