Folding/Unfolding Flexible Circuit Boards

You can unfold a flexible board and fold it again.

Before you begin: The flexible board must be UI-active. If the command is launched on another object except a flexible board, a warning message appears.
  1. Open a flexible board, in the Fold view.


  2. From the Edition section of the action bar, click Fold/Unfold .

The flexible board is unfolded.

Note: Constraint areas, holes, cutouts and placed components are natively integrated in the Fold/Unfold views of the flexible board. However, the Circuit Board Design holes are not integrated to the Fold view.
Warning:
  • If the thickness of constraint areas is too important, it may not be displayed as such in the Fold view.
  • You cannot use the Fold/Unfold command of the Sheet Metal Design app for Flexible Circuit Board Design features.
