File-based Design Import (FBDI) enables content migration from V5 to 3DEXPERIENCE.

The following table describes import correspondences between V5 file-based data and 3DEXPERIENCE content.

The statuses for import results are fully imported, partially imported, and not imported (-).

  • Instances have no electrical properties.
  • Only the references bear electrical properties.

The reference designator is replaced by instance the name.

Splice position, and link between splice and end of segment are imported.

Important: The splice instance and the electrical branch geometry must be aggregated in the same electrical geometry to ensure a successful import.
