In V5, you can apply properties like Hide / Show or Graphic Properties on any instance, at any level in the product structure. The Hide / Show and Graphic Properties of a V5 product are imported in a product presentation during the import of the corresponding file. Product presentation is not visible in the tree in 3DEXPERIENCE. But, it can be saved automatically by FBDI (in asynchronous or batch mode). You can also save it after the end of the FBDI command (in interactive mode). Product presentation data is persistent in the database. When you put a product in the No Show state in V5, the instance of this product is not updated. You should update it to transfer the product to the No Show state. But, this behavior does not exist in 3DEXPERIENCE. Consider a situation where a representation is in the No Show state. You can show the represented object corresponding to the hidden object by right-clicking the representation and selecting Show 3D Shape. This command is not available if the object geometry is not hidden. Graphic properties can be imported in 3DEXPERIENCE within a product structure with the same visualization.
