You can define tracks (that is, assembly motion) for a given operation. This adds a level of detail to the manufacturing detailing: an operation is an abstract unit of work simply providing a duration. The track adds the specification of the product motion associated with that work. When using the 3D Simulation environment to work on a PPR project, you are able to see the operations associated with the resource ASO. There may also be tracks defined under these operations, and you can see those as well. Although you do not create the General operation thumbnail in 3D Simulation, you can right-click the thumbnail and select commands available in Assembly Evaluation, such as New Track and New Kinematic Track. |
