Creating a Track on Items Implemented by an Operation
You can create a Track on one or more items implemented by an operation.
Before you begin: Open your simulation content in
Assembly Evaluation.
The content includes operations implementing items, and manufacturing assemblies.
From the Simulation section of the action bar, click Show Gantt Chart.
In the Gantt chart, right-click an operation and select Create Track.
From the Track Authoring context toolbar, click Moving Objects.
In the Moving Objects panel, Systems appear in the Products tab of Available Products, and the manufacturing assembly implementing the operation appears on the Products tab of Selected Products.
Select the manufacturing assembly click Unassign Product(s).
In Available Products, right-click the system whose status has a + sign, and select Expand to view implemented items.
Select one or more items in Available Products, and move them to Selected Product by clicking Assign Product(s).
Right-click the 3D area of Selected Product and select Fit All In to fit all the products in the view.
Define T-Points using the Track Authoring dialog box, and click
OK to create the Track.
The Track is added to the Gantt chart under the selected operation.
Tips:
To collapse a row, right-click an object and select
Collapse.
To zoom on a specific resource, right-click on a resource and select
Reframe On.
