Create an Interference Probe

In this step, you will create an interference probe to detect clashes or contacts.

  1. From the Verification section of the action bar, click New Interference .
  2. In the Context tab of the Interference Specifications dialog box, select Inside Group in the list.
  3. Select Add New Group.
    The Group Definition dialog box appears.
  4. Select the Air Cover Filter.
  5. Click OK.
  6. In the Context tab of the Interference Specifications dialog box, select Groups against Context in the list.
  7. In the Feedback tab, select Clash or contact and Display interferences list.
  8. Click OK.
    An Interference thumbnail is created in the Probes panel .
  9. Select the track.
  10. Click Play in the Compass to simulate the motion of the track.
  11. In the work area, select Analyze interferences to display the clash information table.
    Contacts are detected between the Air Cover Filter and the two bolts that are used to fix the cover.
