Use Snap Anchor to Replace the First Moving Object
You can select the axis systems of the old and new objects to replace the first moving object.

Create a track to move Resource 1.
- Edit the track and in the Moving Objects panel select the Keep product position when first moving object is replaced option.

Clear Resource 1 and select Resource 2.
Resource 1 is detached and moved to the position it was at before track definition. Resource 2 is attached and moved according to the Automatic Anchor Positioning option setting in the Me
> Preferences > Infrastructure > Trajectory Infrastructure > Trajectory tab.
- If the option is set to Part Bounding Centre, the center of the bounding box of Resource 2 coincides with the anchor position.
- If the option is set to Part Origin, the origin of Resource 2 coincides with the anchor position.

Click
Snap Anchor
to reposition Resource 2.
Note: Snap Anchor allows changing position of the moving object because the option is selected and the moving objects are modified. If moving objects are not modified, then this command is not available. -
Click the snap anchor.
A temporary axis system is created at the anchor position.

Select the axis system on Resource 2.
A point, axis system, or any geometry can be selected on the object.

Select the axis system on the removed object (Resource 1).
The selected axis system is snapped to the anchor position. The selected axis systems coincide. Resource 2 is positioned as defined by the snap.

Click
OK
to save the changes.
The first moving object is replaced and the track is modified.
