Applying Persistent Filters on Bookmarks

You can create a persistent filter in which you can store frequently used filters and their settings to make working with bookmarks easier. You can search for persistent filter in a similar manner to any other object. For more information see Product Finder User's Guide:Filtering Data:Using Persistent Filters.


Before you begin: You must apply a filter to the bookmark structure.
  1. Navigate to the Navigation section of the action bar and click Store Search .
    The New / Search dialog box appears.
  2. Do the following:
    1. Provide a name for the persistent filter in the Name box.
    2. You can provide other details requested if you want.
    3. Click Finish
    The persistent filter is saved in 3DEXPERIENCE.
    Important: If you attempt to create a persistent filter that already exists, you receive a warning asking if you want to modify the existing filter or create one.
  3. Search for a persistent filter by typing your search query in the Search section of the top bar and clicking .
  4. Double-click the persistent filter in the search results to preview its referenced contents.
  5. Select the persistent filter in the search results and do either of the following:
    • Right-click the persistent filter and click Explore With > Apply Filter
    • Navigate to the Navigation section of the action bar and click Explore .

    Select the bookmark to which you want to apply the filter.
