Sliding a Symbol along a Route Line

When a symbol is connected between two routes, you can move it along these two routes.

Before you begin: Place three symbols in a diagram view and route them in line.

Important:

  • The route must be an orthogonal line.
  • The symbol to be slided must have two connections.

  1. Select the symbol with two connections.
    handles appear.
  2. Select the double-arrow handle to drag the symbol along the route line.


    Notes: These handles can be horizontal or vertical.
  3. Drop the symbol at another route segment.

    Important:
    • The segment length must be superior to the symbol length.
    • If needed, the route connection is automatically computed to fit the new position of the symbol.

    The symbol is moved and positioned.
