Detecting and Handling Physical Clashes

You can detect and handle clashes in simulations of physical-logical models. If a clash occurs, clashing objects are highlighted, and the simulation can be stopped.

Note: If contact occurs during initialization of the model, the clash computation supposes the contact as normal; no action is performed (highlighting or stop on clash). If contact remains for the following simulation steps, no action is performed.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin:
  1. Open a model with at least one Logical-Physical Link.
  2. Simulate the logical model.
Note: You can also use clash handling when you replay a simulation.
Important: One of the objects involved must be fixed.
