Reversing or Mirror Geometry

You can create a reversed or mirror representation of an existing geometry.

Note: Connection points, texts, arrows, and annotations cannot be reversed or mirrored.


Before you begin: Create a geometry.

  1. From the Symbol Edition section of the action bar, click Flip Mirror Geometry .
  2. Select the geometry.

    Note: You can multiselect several geometrical shapes.

  3. In the Flip/Mirror dialog box, choose along which axis the new geometry is created:
    • Along x-axis: Creates the geometry along the x-axis
    • Along y-axis: Creates the geometry along the y-axis
  4. Choose which type of geometry you want to create:
    • Flip: Reverses the existing geometry
    • Mirror: Creates a mirror representation of the existing geometry. The initial geometry remains.
  5. Click OK.
    The following results are created according to the selected options:
    • The reverse geometry along the x-axis:

    • The reverse geometry along the y-axis:

    • The mirror geometry along the x-axis:
