Accessing RFLP Properties

You can view and edit the properties of any valid RFLP object.

This task shows you how to:

Access Properties

You can access the Properties command from the context menu.

  1. In the tree or 2D graph, right-click an RFLP object and select Properties .
    The Properties dialog box appears.
    Important:
    • Attributes which are not available for editing are inactive.
    • If the selected function is a subfunction (a child), the Properties dialog box displays the following tabs: Instance and Reference.
  2. From the Reference tab, check or edit the attributes of the selected reference.
  3. From the Instance tab, modify the attributes for the instance.
  4. From the Proxy tab, click Externals to get a preview of the requirement in the external system.
  5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

Access Properties of MultiSelected Objects

You can view the properties of more than one object (such as function, flow...) in a single category (Requirement, Functional, Logical or Physical).

Note that every object (function, flow, port, logical component...) has different attributes, therefore the Properties dialog box may appear different depending on the selected object.

  1. Multiselect the objects in the Search Results panel or in the RFLP structure.
  2. Right-click and select Properties .
    The Properties dialog box appears.
  3. Expand the Current selection list, and then select the object for which you want to view the properties.
The properties of the selected objects are displayed in the Properties dialog box.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog box.
