Extracting Geometry (Protected)

Volumes Extraction extracts the geometry created by a body or feature into another body.

Note: Depending on your role, you may not have access to this functionality.

  1. In the Added Extracted Grill.x dialog box, select Protected volume extraction .
  2. From the Extract From list select the required option.
  3. In the Selection box, select the body that contains the geometry of the solid functional set.
  4. Select the Holes check box to include all the holes in the solid functional set in the extract volume; select the Protected check box to include all the protected features in the extract volume.
