Transforming Axis to Axis

Axis to Axis transposes all the geometric elements of the selected features from one reference axis system to another.

  1. In the Features to transform box of the Axis to Axis.x dialog box, select the feature(s) to be transposed



  2. In the Reference box, right-click and select Insert Wireframe > Create Axis System.
    The Axis System Definition dialog box appears.
  3. In the Origin box, select an origin.

    Tip: You can also create an origin by right-clicking in the Origin box.

  4. In the respective boxes, specify the axes.

    Tip: You can also create the axes by right-clicking in the respective boxes.

  5. Click OK in Axis System Definition dialog box for reference.
  6. In the Target box, right-click and select Insert Wireframe > Create Axis System and follow step 4 to 6 to create a target axis system.
