Using the Display Only Parents Option to Retrieve a Creation Context

You can use Display Only Parents while editing a functional feature. It displays the minimum creation context of the feature being edited by deactivating the feature and all the features which are not parents from it. It works as a filter to facilitate the selection of faces and edges.

This capability is mainly useful for local modifiers such as drafts, chamfers, and fillets features that use face or edge selections.

This task shows you how to use Display Only Parents after changing an edge into a spline.

Before you begin: Open a 3D shape representation with edge fillets, draft, and a spline for an edge.
