Generating Report Files from an FMEA

From an FMEA, you can generate report files, which can be certified by an external organization.

By default, report templates and output formats are provided. You can also select a customized version of:

  • A report template created in Report Template Design and that takes an FMEA table as input.
  • A report output created in Report Generation.

Before you begin:

You must either:

  • Load an FMEA.
  • Create an FMEA and save it.

  1. From the Exchange section of the action bar, click Generate Certification Report .
  2. In the Generate Certification Report dialog box, select a value for the following options:
    OptionDescription
    Report template Select a template.
    Output format Select an output format.
  3. Click Generate to create and download the report.

    Note: This report is also accessible from Report Generation.
