Recognizing Complex Holes

If you want to recognize complex holes (holes more complex than countersunk , counterbored , or counterdrilled holes), we recommend you use the Manual Feature Recognition command , instead Automatic Feature Recognition . This avoids solving ambiguous cases, as illustrated in the following example.



Here, the hole is counterbored at both ends and therefore can be defined in two different ways:

  • as 3 simple holes
  • as 1 counterbored hole and 1 simple hole
