Detect Rounds and Fillets
You can detect rounds and fillets by applying single radius values.
- From the Recognize section of the action bar, click Part Analysis
.
It is divided into two areas: the left one is dedicated to rounds analysis, the right one to fillets analysis.
- Select the body for which the round or fillet analysis is required. You can select it either by clicking on a node of the
tree, or by selecting it in thework area.
Only a single body can be analyzed at a time.
The selected body is now displayed in the Body to analyze box. -
At the bottom of the Colorization Rules section,
define the rule:

In the first box, select the color from the list.
The list contains:
- A blank color box
- A list of default colors from the color palette
- The More Colors option.

Select the type of rule required.
You can select:
- Single: To define a single value of round or fillet radius.
- Range: To define a range of round or fillet radii.
If you select Range, the box to define the upper radius value is available. - Define the radius value for Single, or range of radius for Range.

Click Add to validate and add the
rule.
The rules will be added in the order of sorting. So even if you change the radius value for the rule, it may get rearranged in the sorting order.
- The rule can be deactivated by applying its color as Automatic.
- All colorization rules and colors for other options are saved (only when you click OK to close the dialog box) and are restored when you launch the capability again.

In the first box, select the color from the list.
- Select a color as the Background Color.
The background color is the one in which all the faces of the selected body that do not follow any rule are colored.
- Click OK.
- The result is computed.
- The Feature Recognition dialog box appears. It details the number and the composition of detected rounds and fillets.
- Click OK.
All the rounds or fillets that satisfy the defined colorization rules appear in their respective colors.
Note: You can also select Do not colorize round or Do not colorize fillet check box. - To interpolate between two rules, select Interpolate colors check box.
