Transforming Images

You can transform imported images.


Before you begin: Import an image.
  1. From the Images section of the action bar, tap Transformation.
  2. Select the image support(s):
    • To select a single image support, tap it.
    • To select several image supports, cross them out.
    The selected image supports are highlighted, and a 3D manipulator appears. If all selected elements lie on the same plane, the manipulator is planar. Otherwise, the manipulator is cubic.
  3. To define the orientation mode, right-click the corner of the handle's plane and click one of the following:

    Snap Snaps the manipulator on the global axis system. At least one direction of the manipulator follows the canonical axis and the normal is kept.
    Local Axis Snaps the manipulator on the local axis.

Tip: You can overload the handle manipulation by pressing the following keyboard shortcuts:
  • S for scaling.
  • R for rotation.
  • T for translation.
  • N for translation along the normal direction.
