About Colored Stacking Parts

When instantiating a bead, spot or flexible fastener, different colors help you identify the different parts of the stacking.

Color Scheme

Selecting Activate 3D Coloring applies the following colors:

  • If Pilot Non-Pilot is selected:
    • All the parts that are not present in the current stacking are gray.
      Important: If there are multiple stacking groups present because of Auto stacking features, the current selected stacking represents the current stacking.
    • The fastener entry part, that is the pilot part is green.
    • Other parts present in the stacking are cyan.
  • If Primary Secondary is selected:
    • All the parts that are not present in the current stacking are gray.
    • The parts fastened only by the primary fastener are blue.
    • The parts fastened by secondary fasteners are yellow.

Highlighted Stacking Parts

In the different instantiation dialog boxes, selecting a stacking part row highlights the corresponding part in the 3D area. All the other parts are made slightly transparent to easily identify this part.
