- Click the end of the curve to be extrapolated.
The curve is always extrapolated at the endpoint closest to the selection point. - In the Type area, select Tangential and then specify the length of the extrapolated shape by doing one of the following:
- Drag the handle.
Right-click the handle and select Edit to edit the
position of the handle or Keep this point to keep
a record of its position.
- Enter a Length value.
Note:
If you enter a negative value, the
resulting curve is created in the other direction.
The extrapolated shape is shown and the length of the extended curve is displayed.
- Click OK.
