Analyzing Connections Between Elements

Checking Connections Between Curves

Connect Checker Analysis lets you check and analyze how two curves are connected to each other based on continuity, constraints, and tolerance.

Before you begin: Open a 3D shape.
  1. Click OK. The analysis is added to the tree and will be updated automatically whenever you modify any of the input elements.
  2. Select one or several elements.
  3. Select Quick display mode.
  4. Select the continuity analysis type to display.
  5. Modify the tolerance values, or the geometry to comply with the tolerances.
  6. Click OK. The analysis is added to the tree and will be updated automatically whenever you modify any of the input elements.
  7. Optional: Double-click the Curve Connection Analysis from the specification tree to edit it.

Important: The curve connection checking analysis is permanent; it is retained in the tree for later editing and on the geometry until you reset or delete it.
