Fragmenting Curves

You can fragment multi-arc elements into mono-arc elements.

Before you begin: Open a 3D shape containing a curve to fragment.
  1. Select the curve.
  2. From the Edition section of the action bar, click Fragmentation .
    Note: When fragmenting curves, the options in the Type area have no effect and can be ignored.

    Separator marks are displayed on the curve indicating the positions at which it will be fragmented.



  3. Optional: Select Keep original in the App Options panel to keep the initial element.
  4. Click OK.
    The curve is fragmented into as many new elements as there were arcs in the initial element.
