Creating a Flag Note with Leader

Flag Note with Leader lets you create a flag note with a leader. You can also add 3D leaders or switch current 2D leaders to 3D to position them outside the annotation plane.

Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape and double-click a view to activate it.
  1. Select a face to position the arrow end of the leader.

  2. Position the annotation at the required location.
  3. In the Flag Note Definition dialog box, enter a text.
  4. Click OK.
    The flag note (identified as Flag Note.xxx) is added to the tree under the Note sub-node.
  5. Click in the 3D area.
  6. Right-click the annotation flag note with leader and select Switch to 3D Leader to make the 2D leader a 3D leader.
