Creating an Axonometric View

Axonometric View lets you create an axonometric view.

  • When you click in the 3D area, the plane of the axonometric view is defined according to the current zoom level. Thus, the plane is created far from the geometry.
  • When you select the geometry, the plane of the axonometric view goes through the point selected on the geometry.

Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape.
  1. Set the point of view and click anywhere.

Important: You can set a 3D viewpoint and select a point to define the axonometric view.

  2. In the Ratio Assistant panel, specify the view ratio.
  3. To change the view ratio, select the view in the 3D area and, on the context toolbar, select Change Ratio.

You can also right-click the view in the Views and Captures panel and select xxx object > Change Ratio.

  4. Click OK in the View creation dialog box.
The axonometric view is created. Axonometric views are represented by a magenta reference axis and are identified as Axonometric view A in the tree.
