Importing an Annotation Set Using Geometrical Reroute

Import Annotation Set lets you import an annotation set from an existing 3D part to an another 3D part using geometrical reroute.

Before you begin: Select the Geometrical Reroute option.
  1. Select the As Result With Link check box to import the annotations with their links maintained with the reference.

    The Symmetry plane box allows you to select the symmetry plane for a 3D part resulting from a part symmetry.

    The non-editable annotations are applied on the selected feature with the links to original annotations. In the tree, the annotation nodes appear with the masks on them.
  2. Select the annotation set in the 3D part containing the annotation set as reference.
  3. Click OK or .

    The annotation set is copied or merged in the target 3D part representation. All duplication rules in the source annotation set are duplicated but not necessarily displayed.
