Transferring Annotations During Creation

You can transfer the annotation you are creating to another view. The operating mode described here applies to datum elements, datum targets and geometrical tolerances.

Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape.
  1. Activate the Front View.x annotation plane.
  2. Select the face to define a location for the arrow end of the leader.


  3. From the Annotation section of the action bar, Click Text with Leader .
  4. Enter New Annotation in the Text Editor dialog box.
  5. Select the annotation plane to which you want to transfer New Annotation.

    Important:

    The target annotation plane/view must be an existing one.



    The annotation is transferred.

  6. Click OK in the Text Editor dialog box.
