Generating Dimensions from a Part Design chamfer

You can create dimensions for Part Design chamfer.

Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape with chamfer.

About Dimensions from Part Design Features
  1. From the Annotation section of the action bar, click Tolerancing Advisor.
  2. In the Semantic Tolerancing Advisor dialog box, select the chamfer whose dimensions you want to generate.
    All the semantic annotations that can be created in relation with the chamfer are displayed.
  3. Click the Chamfer Dimension.
    • The Limit of Size Definition dialog box appears.
    • The chamfer dimension is created on the chamfer simultaneously.
  4. Select the required value format and the representation type.
  5. Optional: Swap the direction and the position of the chamfer dimension.

    Notes:
    • You can swap the direction of the chamfer dimension only when the Two Symbols representation type is selected.
    • You can swap the position only for the cone chamfer dimensions.

The chamfer dimension is created.
