Setting Basic Graphical Properties

You can set graphical properties from the Text properties in the Object Properties panel for a textual annotation.

Applicable for:

  • Text
  • Datum
  • Datum Target
  • Geometrical Tolerance

Before you begin:
  • Open an existing 3D shape.
  • Set the Text Default in the Style list if needed.
  1. Select the annotation text.


  2. In the Object Properties panel, click the Bold and Italic.
    The text is modified accordingly.



  3. Click anywhere in the 3D area.
    The Bold and Italic options are deactivated.
  4. Set the Font Size to 7 mm.
  5. Create a new text and enter Surface in the Text Editor dialog box. (See Creating a Text with Leader ).
    The text is created accordingly.



    Important:

    Annotation texts inherit from pre-selected options in the Object Properties panel when created with the Application Default Properties or User Default Properties option selected in the Style section.
