Enabling Effectivity for Object Type or Relationship

You must enable effectivity for specific object types or relationships.

Before you begin:

Add the ENO_Effectivity property to the types/relationships being configured for effectivity. See Configuring Effectivity for Object Type or Relationship.

  1. Edit the Effectivity Framework interface as follows:
    1. Edit the Allowed Types and add the object types that you added the ENO_Effectivity property to.
    2. Edit the Allowed Relationships and add the relationships that you added the ENO_Effectivity property to.
    3. Save the interface.
  2. Edit the Effectivity Usage relationship as follows:
    1. On the FROM side, add the object types and relationships that you added the ENO_Effectivity property to.
    2. On the TO side, add the object types that use sequence as the categoryType.
    3. Save the relationship.
