Configuring the Autonamer Revision Used When Creating Parts

You can configure the autonamer revision to be used to name parts when creating them if the Part Family Name Generator is configured off.

  1. Create or open the text file to contain customized properties. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
  2. To configure the autonamer revision to be used to name parts when creating them, follow these steps:
    1. Add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

      configuration.part.autonamer.revision

    2. Set the value to the autonamer revision to be used when creating a part in a part family.

      If there is no autonamer revision specified, the default autonamer is used.

  3. When finished updating the text file with all properties you want to modify, including the ones shown here, use the text file to modify the emxConfiguration.properties page object. For more information, seeEditing Properties Using MQL.
