Setting the Rule Display

You can specify how Variant Management displays objects in rule expressions.

Typically, the name of an object is auto-generated and consists of an object prefix and a sequential number although you can override this name and enter your own when creating it. Objects such as model versions and models include a marketing name, and objects such as logical features and variability features (variants and options) have a display name. The display or marketing name is more useful for identifying which object you are working with.
