Editing Option Group Properties

Product Managers and System Engineers can make changes to the basic details and attributes of an option group.


Before you begin:

View the Properties page for the option group. See Option Group Properties Page.

Opening an Option Group
  1. From the page toolbar, click Edit Details .
  2. Edit any of these details:

    SectionField NameDescription
    Basics Display Name Enter the display name of the option group.
    Name Enter the new name of the option group.
    TypeThe default value is Option Group. If your Business Administrator has created custom types, enter the new object type or click to select one.
    OwnerEnter the new owner of the option group or click to select one.
    Additional InformationDesign ResponsibilityEnter the new organization responsible (RDO) for the option group or click to select one.
    Display TextEnter the display text associated with the option group.
    DescriptionEnter the detailed description of the option group.
    Configuration CriteriaKey In Type

    Select the type of information that can be provided for the configuration criteria:

    • Blank
    • Date
    • Input
    • Integer
    • Real
    • Text Area

    Classification

    Only shows if you also use IP Classification.

    Additional Attributes

    Enter the values for any attributes inherited from the class.

  3. Click Done to save your changes.
