Geolocation involves defining a coordinate reference system (CRS) for a
project by importing it. Geolocation can be used in two ways either:
To publish a project, the
positioning on a sphere involves the usage of a geodetic CRS that does not
include a "projection" on a plane.
To address
Building and Civil Assemblies
projects and design an infrastructure on a flat ground. You can input geodetic
coordinates although the values kept in the system are cartesian values. You
can select a
Geodetic Input
mode in the
Geolocation panel. Geodetic coordinates are
expressed in latitude and longitude degrees.
