Modifying a Commodity

You can modify a commodity that is referenced in a scenario. Any processes using the deleted commodity are invalidated.

Your company's policies will determine when you should modify new commodities.

Before you begin:

Create at least one scenario using the complex valuation method. See Creating a Scenario
Create at least one commodity. See Adding a Commodity

From the Pit Optimization section of the action bar, click Delete Scenario .
Select a commodity in the tree.
In the Commodity dialog box, change the commodity and grade attribute.
1. From the Grade Attribute list, select the required element grade attribute.
2. From the Commodity Name list, select the commodity to add.
3. Enter the price of the commodity.
