Defining Mining Parameters

You can define the mining cost for a specific pit case scenario when you selected Simple Valuation Method at scenario creation.

Your company's policies will determine when you should create new commodities.

Before you begin: Create at least one scenario using the simple valuation method. See Creating a Scenario.
  1. From the Pit Optimization section of the action bar, click Mining .
    Alternatively, double-click Mining in the Pit Opt case underneath the Scenario category in the tree, and select New Commodity.
  2. Underneath the Pit Opt case scenario instance, double-click the Mining node, and select New Commodity from the context menu.
  3. In the Mining dialog box, enter a value for the Mining Cost .
  4. Click Ok.
