Running the Pit Optimization
  1. Double-click the label of the required results to switch the context to the current result.

    If the required results are not the active results, right-click the label of the required results, then select Set as Current.

  2. Review the Summary. The summary provides a summary of the optimization, without needing to run another volume calculation.
    1. Double-click Summary.
    2. Review the results. The results displayed include the number of phases, the undiscounted value, the total mass, the total ore mass, the total waste mass, the strip ratio, the number of periods, and the discounted value.
    3. Click Cancel to close the summary.
  3. Review the Phase report. The phase report shows the results of the optimization run including, the in place value, tonnage, and grade aggregated by the phase and ore classification.
    1. Double-click Phase report.
    2. The Phase report dialog box appears. The Table Report that includes the in place value, tonnage, and grade aggregated by the phase and ore classification is available. The Chart Report contains a stacked bar chart showing the phase on the X axis and the tonnage on the Y axis.
    3. To export the bench report results, click Export to CSV.
    4. Click Cancel to close the report.
  4. Review the Period report. The period report contains a summary of the scheduling results. The period report is only available when scheduling run successfully.
    1. Double-click Period report.
    2. The Period report dialog box appears. The Table Report that includes the discounted value and undiscounted value, as well as, the tonnage and grade aggregated by period and destination is available. The Chart Report contains a stacked bar chart showing the period on the X axis and the tonnage on the Y axis.
    3. To export the bench report results, click Export to CSV.
    4. Click Cancel to close the report.
  5. Review the Period and Phase report. The period and phase report contains a summary of the relations between the period and the phase. The period and phase report is only available when scheduling run successfully.
    1. Double-click Period and Phase report.
    2. The Period and Phase report dialog box appears. The Table Report that includes the discounted value and undiscounted value, as well as, the tonnage and grade aggregated by period and phase is available. The Chart Report contains a stacked bar chart showing the period on the X axis and the tonnage on the Y axis.
    3. To export the bench report results, click Export to CSV.
    4. Click Cancel to close the report.
  6. Review the Bench report. The bench report contains a summary of the scheduling of phase benches. The bench report is only available when scheduling runs successfully.
    1. Double-click Bench report.
    2. The Bench report dialog box appears. The panel displays a table report that includes the discounted value and undiscounted value, as well as, the tonnage and grade aggregated by period, phase, bench, and destination.
    3. To export the bench report results, click Export to CSV.
    4. Click Cancel to close the report.
