Displaying the Pit Summary

Once you have run an optimization scenario, you can display the result summary under the Results node for review. View Pit Summary summarizes the pit results from an optimization run in a report.

Before you begin:

Define a site and a block model for the optimization.
Prepare the optimization. See Preparing an Optimization Block Model.
Create at least one scenario. See Creating a Scenario.
You have configured and run a pit optimization successfully and have some valid results. See Running the Pit Optimization.
Create a new physical product to store the optimization output in.

In the tree, right-click Summary , and select View Pit Summary in the context menu.
Review the summary results that include the number of phases, the undiscounted value, the total mass, the total ore mass, the total waste mass, the strip ratio, the number of periods, and the discounted value.
Click Cancel.
