About composites overview

You can view the parameters set on the General, Attributes, and Weightings tabs on the Overview tab. You can display the composite intervals graphically, without saving them using the Preview button.

On the Overview tab, the list of parameters indicates if an attribute is required or mandatory. You can only view the summary of your inputs on this tab as it is read-only.

If you click Preview on the Downhole Composite or Composite within Units dialog box, the composite intervals are calculated and displayed graphically without saving. The Preview and Calculate and save buttons have the same functionality, but when you click Preview the composites are not saved but you can view the composites graphically.

After clicking Preview, the Result tab appears which contains two sections:Select an Attribute to Preview and Composite Report. A colour palette appears in a dialog box describing the colours of the composited attributes.

The Composite Report section contains two sections: General and Errors. You can expand the sections to view the statistics and error reports of each borehole in the General and Errors sections, respectively.

If you change any parameters on the General, Attributes, and Weightings tabs, the composite intervals that are displayed are removed.
