Accessing borehole ingestion reports

You can access borehole ingestion (BI) reports from the action bar, messages, or the notifications.

Accessing the report from the action bar

You can display the BI report from the action bar.

  1. Click Ingestion Reports on the Administer section of the action bar.
    The Ingestion Reports form appears where all the existing ingestion reports are arranged in descending order (from the start time).
  2. Click a report to display the details of the report on the right-side of the pane.

The details report displays the ingestion information (such as, creator, start and process time, status, and number of new boreholes) errors and warning reports.

Accessing the report from messages

You can display the BI report from a message displayed after importing boreholes.

  1. From the action bar, click Import Borehole Data on the Boreholes section.
  2. On the Import Boreholes form, drag and drop borehole data files (for example, .csv, .xml, and .txt).

    Note: Add a schema-mapping file (.xml) with the data files. A warning message is displayed if a schema-mapping file is not specified.

  3. Click OK.
    The ingestion process is started. If the process is successful, a message displays that the import is successful with the import job ID and an Open Report button.
  4. Click Open Report.
    The Ingestion Reports form displays the details of the ingestion report that you have generated.

The details report displays the ingestion information (such as, creator, start and process time, status, and number of new boreholes) errors and warning reports.

Accessing the report from notifications

You can display the BI report from the 3D Notifications after the ingestion process is completed.

From the 3D Notifications menu, select the option that displays that your borehole ingestion process is finished and you can check the report.
The Geoscience Interpretation app opens and displays the Ingestion Reports form that displays the details of the ingestion report that you have generated.
