About the Arc Command

You can create an arc manually or using Tools Palette.

To create an arc manually, move the pointer to activate SmartPick and click as you get the required location.

Arc Centers

By default, arc centers appear on the sketch and are associative.

If you create arcs by clicking and do not want to see the centers, you can specify your preference in the Preferences dialog box. For this, clear the Create circle and ellipse centers check box under Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > 3D Modeling Core > Sketcher > Geometry.

If you select a circle, an ellipse, an arc of a circle or an arc of an ellipse in a sketch, its center point is automatically highlighted, provided the Create circle and ellipse centers check box is selected. This helps to differentiate the center point of the selected geometry from the other points in the sketch. It is also applicable when you select multiple geometry objects such as several circles, arcs or ellipses in the graphic window or in the tree. However, in case of geometries created without their center points there is no visual change (i.e. there is no highlight).
