Creating Profiles

You can create closed profiles. Profile composed of lines and arcs.


Before you begin: Select the Create Detected Constraints from the Sketch section and the Show Constraints from the View section of the action bar.

About Creating Profiles
  1. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Profile .
  2. Locate the first point of the profile.
  3. Click in the work area where you want the profile end point.
    The profile is created.

    In Tools Palette, three profile creation options are available. Keep the default option: Line .

    Tip: At this step, you could also enter length L and angle A values.
  4. In Tools Palette, select the Tangent Arc .

    Note: You can also select Three Point Arc.

    A rubber banding arc follows the pointer, showing the tangent arc to be created.

  5. Click where you want to create the arc end point.

    The default mode is back to Line in Tools Palette.

  6. Draw more lines and arc as required and close the profile.
    The profile is created.
