Creating Three Point Circles

You can create a circle passing through three known points.


Before you begin: Select the Create Detected Constraints from the Sketch section and the Show Constraints from the View section of the action bar.

About Creating Circles
  1. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Three Point Circle .
  2. In the H and V boxes of the Tools Palette specify the coordinates of the three points one after another.

    You can also locate the points by clicking the point's location in the work area.

    Note: Depending upon the point selection, the radius is calculated and displayed in the R box in the Tools Palette

    The three point circle is created.



    Note: There are no dimensional constraints created in 2D Layout for 3D Design and Drafting. To show dimensions in these apps, you can create 2D dimensions from the Annotation section of the action bar.
