Creating a Permanent URL Link

You can create a permanent URL link (or "permalink") that can be copied and pasted to share a link on your map. This link is associated with a camera viewpoint and may contain a simple object like an annotation or a drawing (polygon or polyline).

Before you begin:
  • Simple objects embedded in the URL. There is a limit to the URL length which is 2K characters.

  • The URL can be shared and replayed only by members of the cloud platform from which the URL has been generated. You must also be granted a role containing City Play to replay the URL.
  • A default navigation experience must have been published for that referential by a City Referential Manager.
