Maintenance Operations

This section describes the basic maintenance operations that you can perform in the event of a reboot, to start/stop Globe components.

Linux: start/stop the Globe component, Widget Platform and Rich Media Server TomEE+ instance by launching the following command: <Globeinstallpath>/linux_a64/code/tomee/bin/startup.sh: shutdown.sh -force
External TomEE+

Linux:

Globe Search Full Index Rebuild

Follow the following procedure on the 3DGlobe machine for a full index rebuild:

<GlobeInstallPath>/linux_a64/code/command/clearExaleadIndex.sh

After a full index rebuild, indexing is automatically scheduled incrementally on a regular basis (nearly every minute).

Reconfiguring

The 3DEXPERIENCE Platform services give the possibility to reconfigure the service installation of the deployed services. This feature is not yet available for Globe service.

Configure the 3DEXPERIENCE platform with a single FQDN

The Globe service does not support this type of deployment yet.
