Creating a Blend Corner

Blend Corner lets you create a blend corner and redesign the surface.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin:

Create a 3D shape containing the corners to be blended.

Create a Blend Corner using the Point Creation Mode

  1. Select the Point creation mode.
  2. Select two or more faces.

    Important: All the selected faces must belong to the same global support.

  3. Click Preview.
  4. In the table containing the list of sections, you can:

    • Select any section and replace it with another section.
    • Click to remove the selected section in the table.
    • Click to reverse the orientation of the selected section.

  5. Move the handle arrows to edit the point on the surface.
  6. Click Reverse sew result to inverse the orientation of the blend corner.
  7. Click OK.

Create a Blend Corner using the Setback Creation Mode

  1. Select the Setback creation mode.
  2. Select two or more faces.
  3. In the table containing the list of sections, you can:

    • Select a section and specify the setback value.
    • Select any section and replace it with another section.
    • Click to remove the selected section in the table.
    • Click to reverse the orientation of the selected section.

  4. Click Preview.
  5. From the table containing the list of sections, select the modified face and click Apply current to all.
  6. Click Reverse sew result to inverse the orientation of the blend corner.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Double-click a setback element of the blend corner feature in the tree and change the value in the box.
  9. Click OK and then click Update in the action bar.
