Creating Symbolic Inputs

Symbolic Input lets you create symbolic input interfaces.You can link modules using symbolic interfaces.

  1. In the Symbolic Input dialog box, under Input Definition, do the following:
    1. In the Name box, specify a name for the symbolic input interface.
    2. In the Location box, specify the module where the input interface is to be created.
  2. Under Pointed interface, do the following:
    1. In the Name box, specify the symbolic name of the pointed interface.

      Click to select a pointed interface.

    2. In the Location box, specify the name of the module that contains the interface.

      Click to select the pointed interface location.

  3. Click OK.
    An input interface is created.
