You can define component duplication as many times as you wish in the direction of your choice.
Before you begin: Open an assembly.
Select a component in the tree.
From the
Authoring section of the
action bar, click Define
Multi-Instantiation
.
Keep the Instances & Spacing parameters option as
specified, and enter 3 in the number of instances and
90 mm for the spacing value between each component.
To define the direction of creation, check X axis.
Tip:
Alternatively, to define a direction, select a
line, an axis or an edge in the 3D area. The coordinates appear in the
Result box.
Clicking Reverse reverses the direction.
The application shows a preview of the new components:
Make sure
Define as Default option is on. If so,
the parameters you have just defined are saved and will be reused by the
Fast Multi-Instantiation command.
Click
OK to create the components.
Three additional components are created in the X direction.
They are also identified in the tree.
Important:
The Apply executes the command but
the dialog box remains open to let you repeat the operation.
