About the Floating Spreadsheet

The Floating Spreadsheet lets you display an object and edit its content in the same tab as your structure.

Differences Between Spreadsheet and Floating Spreadsheet

The Floating Spreadsheet is a simplified version of the Spreadsheet.

The following Spreadsheet features are not supported by the Floating Spreadsheet.

  • Managing Extensions
  • Drag and Drop of objects and columns
  • Creation, Duplication, and Insertion
  • Contextual menu on rows
  • Navigation, Level up

Floating Spreadsheet Commands

Specific commands are provided to customize the Floating Spreadsheet.

IconProperties

Lock/Unlock Panel

Enables to manage the addition and removal of rows in the panel.

This command has three states:

  • Unlocked: you can add and remove rows in the panel.
  • Locked and enabled: you can remove all or selected rows from the panel and unlock the panel to add new rows.
  • Locked and disabled: you can neither add or remove rows and you cannot unlock the panel.

Note: From the action bar, the Floating Spreadsheet panel is unlocked by default. From the Conductor Routing Assistant, the panel is locked and disabled by default.

Clean Panel

Removes all the rows displayed in the panel.

Note: It is also possible to remove selected rows from the table through the contextual command Remove.
